About

|
Globally, the incidence of breast cancer has dramatically risen in the last 20 years; it is now the most common cancer in women (1M in 2008) and one of the leading causes of cancer driven mortality (548K in 2008). Early detection directly correlates to better prognosis, longer survival and significantly lower cost of treatment. UELS has taken the "lowest hanging fruits" approach to market entry where pain points can be maximally relieved and substantial impact can be realized.
UE LifeSciences Inc. (UELS) is a Philadelphia based corporation with a mission to design, develop and manufacture globally adaptable, non-invasive medical device technologies that augment the effectiveness of existing breast cancer detection tools and methods, for women of all ages.
UELS is the manufacturer of No Touch Breast Scan™ (www.NoTouchBreastScan.com), an entirely touch-less and radiation-free adjunctive breast cancer screening technology based on the platform of computerized and high-precision functional infrared imaging.
UELS has obtained worldwide exclusive license portfolio of innovative and patented technology from Drexel University with market launch (in selected international markets) anticipated in 9 to 12 months:
Intelligent Breast Exam™ (iBE™) is a portable tactile breast imager capable of enhancing the clinical breast exam currently done manually by physician's hands and provides malignancy assessment non-invasively.
Early clinical study of 35 women at Hahnemann University, Philadelphia has demonstrated promising results.
