About

|
Stabiliz was formed to develop disruptive technologies in the orthopedic space utilizing FDA approved materials, providing a quick path to revenue. Susan Harding, MD (Chief Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon, Hahneman Hospital) and Douglas Cerynik, MD (Director of Orthopedic Research, Drexel College of Medicine) conceptualized the initial products using bio-resorbable materials to modify existing fracture plate systems, thus improving their clinical effectiveness. Stabiliz aims to foster greater clinical outcomes for traumatic fracture patients, ultimately reducing treatment costs.

3 Major Issues

|
-
What do we need to know regarding reimbursement for 510(k) cleared devices (used during procedures currently with a CPT code)?
-
What are the pitfalls to avoid in establishing a Quality System (preferably as it pertains to medical devices)?
-
Besides receiving our FDA 510k clearance, what other actions can we take prior to commercialization to build value for investors.
