Dr. James M. Hand, R.Ph., Ph.D., is a seasoned executive with over 22 years of increasing responsibilities in large and small pharmaceutical companies; including discovery research and global responsibility for business development and licensing for large and specialty pharmaceutical companies. Dr. Hand successfully structured deals for acquisitions and out-licensing of assets worldwide; including numerous executed deals in the US, EU, Pacific Rim and Asia. Dr. Hand has global experience dealing with assets in numerous areas including: cardiovascular, renal, diabetes, inflammation and immunology, weight control, respiratory, allergy and asthma, dermatology, drug delivery technologies and consumer healthcare.
Dr. Hand received his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin; was an American Heart Fellow, is a member of the American Society of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics, and is a Registered Pharmacist. Recently, Dr. Hand completed two years as a Board Member for the Licensing Executives Society and remains active with the National and International organization. Dr. Hand is currently consulting with product oriented companies on business development strategies and positioning of their assets, for partnering and commercialization.
